This will be an EPIC day for outdoor adventure with November Project!
BIKE from Atlanta to Stone Mountain Park — 20 miles each way (40 total)
RUN the Cherokee Trail around Stone Mountain — 5 miles
HIKE to the top of Stone Mountain — 1 mile
SUP on the lake at the base of Stone Mountain
Optional mountaintop YOGA with NP Buffalo co-leader Steve.
Participate in one event or do it all!
Those who do it all will earn a special tag!
I’m between each event, hang out at the tents with Big Peach, Prissy Tomboy and Mountain High Outfitters.
What You Need to Bring:
— if you’re biking, a bike lock, flat repair kit
-running shoes for run and hike
-we’ll have some water/sports beverages and snacks, but bring your own lunch if you plan to be out the entire day!
-bathing suit or waterproof clothing for SUP
-hats and sunglasses
-cash for the $10 vehicle fee
NOTE- we’ll try to arrange carpools for those who are not biking so that we take as few vehicles as possible. See the Google doc and sign up! Each car is $10 park entry unless you have a pass!
Tribe Leader Alexa will lead the bike ride. We will be riding on the Stone Mountain PATH, which is a combo of bike trail and roads. You should be familiar riding on roads and be comfortable riding at least 20 miles. We’ll try to stick together but plan to ride around 13+ mph.
Sign up for bike ride on Google Doc.
