ABOUT THE POP-UP:
The Broaden team will be bringing in their Moroccan collection all the way from the ancient city of Fes –– where market stalls stretch endlessly along cobbled streets; mountains of fresh produce overflow the carts they call home; shoppers pass through clouds of chamomile and the smell of freshly baked bread; and shop owners auction their wares from one language to another. Broaden is bringing this laughably easy enchantment from their adventures in Fes onto the Citizen Supply sales floor. They'll be showcasing the artisanal process featured in their home goods collection. From leather to textiles, metals to ceramics, and all kinds of other uniquely curated Moroccan goods, they’ll be telling the story of a city worlds away. Discover their journey through photos of Fes, and discover just how far their goods have travelled just to get to you. Exploring the history and beauty of these hand-crafted goods, you'll walk away with a greater knowledge and appreciation for the process and story behind these artisanal goods, and (who knows) maybe you'll take home an item or three for yourself!
MEET THE MAKERS:
The four Broaden owners will be in the Citizen Supply space to personally introduce you to the beauties of their Moroccan-curated collection. Nathan Pinner and his wife Katelyn along with Brian and Tessa Pinner have set out to carry the rich heritage of the craft culture they encountered during their adventures to North Africa. Their passion, Broaden, brings you beautiful artisan goods in a way that directly supports the Moroccan makers and preserves local traditions. The goal is to nurture the twin ideals of being at home abroad and feeling abroad at home. At its core, Broaden is telling a story –– a story about finding home wherever you are. Broaden is helping you to bring the story home.
