With so many candidates for mayor, it's hard to know where they all stand on transportation issues you care about.
That's why a group of transportation advocates is hosting this forum, dedicated to walking, biking, and access to transit! What would candidates do to make streets safe for people walking, biking, and waiting for the bus? What transportation related ideas do they have to keep Atlanta affordable? What investments are most pressing to realizing Atlanta's potential for active transportation modes? Get answers to these and more questions (including some submitted by you!) The fabulous, Rose Scott, of WABE will moderate the evening.
Organized by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, in partnership with PEDS, MARTA Army, Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) — Atlanta Chapter, Southern Environmental Law Center, Citizens for Progressive Transit, Sierra Club, Partnership for Southern Equity, Environment Georgia, Atlanta Cycling Festival, Civil Bikes, and the TransFormation Alliance.
Expect a lively discussion and an informative evening. Finger foods will be provided. American Sign Language interpretation will be provided. Children are welcome.
