South Carolina Outlaw Country Rockers Hans Wenzel and The Eighty Sixers take “Lost and Lawless” to the streets on their own terms.
Hailing from Charleston, SC, Hans Wenzel and The Eighty Sixers have crafted their own version of Outlaw Country, taking inspiration from the rich archives of gunfighter ballads and Bakersfield boogies, and blending that with true Southern Rock. The sound they’ve developed showcases Hans Wenzel’s powerful and instantly recognizable timbre, beckoning the spirit of Chris Cornell and similar legendary vocalists. Pair that with Chris Fulmer’s scorching Telecaster licks and crafty rhythm arrangements, and you end up with an etouffee that’s perfectly seasoned and leaves you full yet still wanting more.
The new album “Lost and Lawless” can be purchased on all digital outlets, and also on the band’s website hanswmusic.com as a digital download, CD or vinyl. The eight track album is a collection of stories of the old South, of growth and change, murder and manhood.
